Haul Part 2

Hey Everyone,

I apologise in advance for for the bad quality of some of the photos I'm not sure what happened...

Ok so this is part 2 of what I have brought over the last couple of weeks and once again it isn't much but there we go!

So seeing as it is summer and I am actually going away on holiday soon I decided to get a new pair of sandals and found these jelly shoes in Topshop. And I got so excited because I was like WOAH jelly shoes are back in fashion I always wore them when I was a kid blahblah. So I got them ... I'm not really sure if my sentimental decision clouded my judgement and they are actually ugly but I still love them :) (and they were cheap at like £13)

I also went to check out the Zara sale, I was actually looking for a summer dress but if your like me you will understand how that never happens! But I did get this bag which is SO nice. you really can't see it properly in these pictures but its made out of this kind of suede material I think and has loads of room in it as well so I am definitely glad I picked it up. AND it was only £8.99 (I think).

Lastly I got this cute little purse from Zara as well. I found it as I was waiting in the queue for the changing room and as I needed a new purse (my old purse which I LOVED got stolen a few months ago) and the price tag said £5 so I was like gotta have it and then to make things even better when I got to the till and the cashier said it was only £3!! I get so happy when that happens I know I'm so sad!

Haul Part 1

Hey people :)

So of course over the past week or so I have been hitting the summer sales and although I didn't actually buy that much but I thought that I would split what I have got into 2 parts just because I don't have that much time and for some reason my comptor always goes crazy when I try to upload pictures on here and takes an AGE so I will just upload less if you get me...

Anyways so the first thing I got was this cute dress from New Look which was only £7!!!

This is the floral pattern which I LOVE its so cute and girly.

This is what it looked like on. ahaha look how flushed my face is... you can tell it was hot! And I'm not sure why I'm wearing my bag ... hmm


I also brought Sleeks face contour kit in light. It wasn't in the sale but is only £5.99 (I think) so a bargain. It is actually the first Sleek product I have ever purchased so I was quite excited to try it and it is REALLY good I would defo recommend it especially as it is cheap as well!

It comes with a highlight and contour powder and mirror so it is also usefull for on the go because its so small and compact.

My final thing isn't really something I brought but a present from my sister which she got from Portugal and I like it a lot. It's a cute little adjustable bracelet made out of beads and I have been wearing it all the time since she got back. I think it really goes with summer and although I'm not a great jewelery wearer I am in love with it!

Ok thats all...

It's a lot shorter then I expected but oh well, short and sweet I guess!!!

Favourite face products

Hey Everyone

I'm so sorry I haven't posted in a while I've just been quite busy.

Anyways moving on I just thought I would share with you the face products that I use. So here they are:

First St Ives Apricot Scrub. I LOVE this stuff. It just removes all your dead skin and leaves your face feeling smooth and just clean and lovely.



Secondly Simple's refereshing facial wash. Although I do love the St Ives facial scrub it is a bit harsh for everyday use so I use the Simple wash everday and the St Ives every couple of days. But the Simple wash is also REALLY good and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.



Thirdly I use T-ZONE face/nose strips just because I have a bit of a problem with pores and blackheads so I find this a really good way to keep them at a minimum. However like the St Ives scrub you can only use them every couple of days as they can be quite harsh on your skin, obviously as your ripping it off...





Fourthly Superdrugs deep cleansing mud mask. When I first brought this I was a little cynical just because it's Superdrug own brand and quite cheap but its actually surprisingly good and has lasted me AGES. I use it on average once/twice a week.

Fifth is Body Shops Hemp cream. This stuff is AMAZING and all my friends absolutely love it to. My skin gets dry in weird places like round my nose and between my eyebrows but this cream keeps it lovely and un-dry all day without making it oily. So this is defo one of my favourite products.

Sixth is St Tropez fake tan mouse stuff. I'm not really sure what its called but I use it on my face and neck just to give me a lovely glow during the summer. Although I admit it is quite expensive it is worth it just because it gives a reallly good UNfake tan which deepens throughout the day. It is also really light and easy to apply because its a mouse and its last me a while as well.

And of course seventh is sun tan lotion. I'm not really fussy so I willl get any kind but its just good to have suncream on all the time especially in this weather. And also I have a few moles on my face so obviously I have to up the protection....

And eighth is Anne French cleansing lotion (sorry about the picture my phone died on me so I had to get and internet one). I use this to remove my make up. I usually do this at night so then while I sleep it can also be absorbed in my skin so in the morning my skin is still nice. It is a little bit oily though which is why I don't usually use it during the day but overall its really good and leaves my skin feeling great.

Lastly is a Nivea pearly shine. I really like this lip product not just because of the 'pearly shine' but also because it contains SPF 10 so is protecting your lips which I think most people forget about and also t doesn't contain petroleum which is specifically why I got it.

Well thats the end I hope you enjoyed. Also I just wanted to mention that I think I have like Combination skin so some of these products which work for me might not work for you.

Summer Staples

Hello again :)

Ok I lied in the title the things I am going to show you aren't really what I would call summer staples I just couldn't think of anything else...

What I am going to show you is my favourite outfit of the moment. DUN DUN DAHH

If you live in London or really anywhere in Britain at the moment you will know that we have been having some crazy good weather these past few weeks. And I have found that over these weeks if I'm not sure what to wear I always find myself turning back to this easy outfit.

So without furthur ado here it is...

So its not really special but I like it so much because its so simple and easy to wear. Obviously I don't wear the exact same top all the time but you get the idea.

What I'm wearing is:

Uniqlo top (from a sale a while ago)

H&M jeans

H&M shoes (only £4.99!!!)

Reiss bag (free with Elle!)

I also wanted to tell you about my favourite summer scent which is White Musk from Body Shop. I LOVE this smell its so light and airy which to me is the essence of summer.

Also as I said in previous posts I am loving the Berry Ice Cream nail paint form BarryM and the Lip Paint in 147 for summer.

Mini Haul

Hey everyone

So as promised this is the post containing all that I brought on my little shopping trip yesterday. Here is what I got:


First and possibly my favourite is this GORGEOUS dress that I found in a little boutique just behind TopShop and Miss Selfridge on Oxford Street. It was reduced from I think around £70 to £30 which is amazing and I think its gonna be perfect for summer, especially in this heat, as the wedding season rolls in because it is light and flowy (is that how you spell it? It looks wrong..) and just perfect I think with a nice pair of heels or sandals.




The picture does not do it justice but how gorgeous is that!!


And of course I cannot seem to go a post without talking about something from BarryM (I promise in my next post NOT to mention it) so here are the things I brought from there.


First I brought 2 nail paints which I think will be great in the summer and are very on trend because they are so pastely (I'm not sure if thats a word) and they are 308 Berry Icecream and 304 Mint Green. I'm actually wearing the Berry Icecream one at the moment and it is really lovely I think it might be my new favourite nail varnish.

And my second BarryM product was ANOTHER lip paint in 147 which is a kind of corally colour (did I just make up another word?!) and which I am also wearing at the moment and I feel is going to be my new summer lip colour! The only negative thing I can find about it is that unlike BarryM's lip paint in 129 which is very easy to apply this one seems to have a slightly harder consistency so you have to do more coats to get a full coverage of colour (does that make sense?). But the colour is still gorgeous and I'm definitely glad I got it :)

Thats all I got so I'll be of now...

Stuff ...

Hey Everyone,

Sorry I haven't been on here in a while but my exams are finally over so I will be dedicating a lot of my time to this blog, well hopefully...

Anyways while I've been away I have brought a few little things although I'm afraid it isn't much.

Well, first of all I got a new red lipstick from BarryM (of course as I am disgustingly poor) it is in the colour 121 and has suprisingly good quality so I am very pleased with it and really its a steal at £4.50.

(How lucious is that red!!!)



Secondly (WOOPWOOP) I got the Benefit EyeBright from the Glamour magazine giveaway, I am still pondering on whether to buy the BadGal eyeliner, which I actually LOVE. The only thing is, and this is probably qiute stupid on my part, but I thought that as they have different covers that they would be different issues, but of course they weren't, so now I have two of the exact same magazine.

And lastly another magazine free giveaway (because I am such a cheapskate....) that I got with the Elle magazine was a Reiss Bag designed exclusively for Elle. I think it is going to be a perfest beach bag as it is large, light and will not be damaged if it gets wet.

However I was slightly dissapointed with the quality, I found a lot of fraying pieces of thread but I guess I will be able to deal with it seeing as it was FREE .... :)

On the subject of Elle magazine there is one thing I really didn't understand. Why, I ask you, why would they put this of Kristen Stewart picture as the front cover????



Is this not the most awkward picture?!?!?

I mean look at these ones which were in the article ...








She looks gorgeous .... and then they use the ugliest one on the cover... whats up with that???

But enough of my ranting (I'm sorry for going of on a tangent) thats all I got, although I am going shopping tommorow to celebrate the end of my exams (I always seem to be buying stuff for celebration on here ... don't be fooled its just an excuse ... ) so hopefully tommorow I will have a lot of new goodies to show you ...
